I am a counselling psychologist with over 20 years of experience, and mum to three teens.
A few of my favourite things are cold rainy days, reading, poetry, big cups of tea, and long, meandering conversations. I also love dreaming up new ways to support my clients, like creating this website, and keeping up with all things psychology.
I use evidence- and mindfulness-based Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion-focused Therapy (CFT), as well as life-coaching techniques – I was lucky to be trained in life-coaching by the incredible Dr Martha Beck.
